Mithraeum is a pure on-chain grand strategy game focused on players’ social interactions. Thanks to the blockchain as a game theoretic playground, the game turns into a real-time political simulator.
The game exists on the principle of Bellum omnium contra omnes - the war of all against all. Players produce and trade resources, develop and defend their settlements and fight other players through battles or sieges. They are also encouraged to use their diplomatic and strategic skills, forming alliances or divisions within one global map.
Mithraeum is at the Bronze Age stage — a series of limited public tests where the Mithraeum community tests and validates hypotheses related to the game design.
Some 500 players participate in the ongoing test, enjoy the game, and fight for position and glory.
